The auto play videos that seem so common on articles and recipes drive my adhd crazy, I just want to read the words but it’s so distracting 😭 they’re even catching on to the “print page” trick for recipes and putting ads there too. There’s no winning. 🥲

Auto play window in one corner (with the minuscule x), pop up ads, the ads that scroll down the page as you scroll down, articles that are cut into a dozen pieces by ads so it’s almost impossible to read. Great stuff.

Also I've noticed a trend of websites not only hitting you with the obnoxious screen-covering "sign up for our newsletter" messages, but automatically opening up my phone's keyboard for it too. So suddenly my screen just gets completely consumed by this popup.

I don't know how in the hell I used the web on a phone before firefox+ublock origin. (and consent-o-matic for cookie banners)

I think orion browser exists for iOS too.
