Visiting America is too risky. What kind of people choose a convicted felon as their president? Trump is also an adjudicated rapist. American DOJ is controlled by a fraudster. Crossing border is a bad idea.
To be fair, it's not an unusual bargain at Loblaws/Shoppers, and Christie/Nabisco has Canadian production, but it's gonna be wild if everyone buys locally-owned, pushing up the price of Dare & Leclerc, or Mondelez has to spin Christie back off up here.
My grocery store had about 5 bags of Cheezies left and the Hard Bites section was decimated. But almost all the Lays still there and Smartfood is on sale but it’s still full
Given the exchange rate, it would be hugely profitable for Americans to buy discounted US products in Canada and then resell them back in the US at regular price.😂
The factory is about a 15 minute drive from my house, and in the outlet store across the street they sell products originally made for the Canadian and American markets. Even in packaged goods our economies have been very intertwined
Damn, I wish we had sales like this in the USA. Not this shrinkflation and artificial low supply nonsense jacking prices up and then their "discounts" just mark everything to slightly above MSRP. Some good deals are hard to come by.
My grocery store (Fresh Co) has those cookies labelled 🍁 And right beside them are Leclerc Celebration cookies, an actual Cdn product, and they are not labelled 🍁
Groceries are donating to food pantries here. And yeah, if it's very very cheap, you can get yourself a pack. They are losing money anyway they won't bring it in again

My Canadian family told me Air Canada is canceling flights to the US because demand is collapsing.
Food is great. People are great. City is great. Weather is…um, food is great.
We’ll be back.
Go Canada!
