Libertarianism has been trending far right for quite a while before Trump. IQ, "culture", etc have been a pretty standard go to for describing modes of failure under capitalism, but even the less racist ones were perefctly happy to go along with Hayek's approach to smashing the welfare state.

It's mostly racism. When Americans have a pure market, zero welfare state approach it's usually racism. Close the municipal swimming pool rather than integrate it.
Trump says you don't have to do either, resegregate government. No more need for libertarianism.
