If you have student loans: file a complain for violation of FERPA. Start a lawsuit too. DOGE violated your rights

FERPA does not apply to them.

Pretty sure it applies to everyone. And even if it doesnβt, your defeatist attitude helps literally no one.

You are incorrect. It does not apply to everyone. There is also no private right to action under FERPA. It is not defeatist to explain how a law works.

Your time is best served elsewhere. FERPA has no teeth.

I know unions and other orgs have joined in lawsuits. Iβm unsure if there is a classification for Education.

If there is no #DeptOfEducation, do #StudentLoans even have to be paid?

Even better: if judges canβt block EOs, then retroactively that means I donβt have to pay them $20000

Unfortunately Gonzaga University v. Doe says we don't have an individual right to sue for a FERPA violation. This will get no one.

I paid my federal ones off a few years ago -- would I still be in the right to file a complaint since they are on record?
