No interest in that. If I want pockets, I just buy men's clothes, which is always fun in the coldest months because I regularly get misgendered while wearing beanies and Carhartts. You'd think they'd know because they can always tell, right?π
Clothing for example, primarily trousers. They are made with better materials, last longer, comfortable, affordable, AND THEY HAVE FUNCTIONAL POCKETS!!
ππππ
Men get more practical clothes but women get the more fancy ones.
When I check the second hand shops I see a bunch of cool and shiny clothes for women and usually just boring stuff for men.
Which of course is also in big part because women are more often pressured into looking nice, but still...
Boysβ jeans would be an even worse fit; they make neither boysβ nor menβs clothing for average adult women. Not sure why so many assume everything can be unisex; bodies are different and have different needs. The pink tax applies not just to certain optional styles but to things women actually need.
The only time men's jeans were comfortable to me was before puberty. That being said, I do buy men's work pants, but the waist has to be a bit larger to accommodate the butt/thighs.
What about a gender-neutral one?
Made that for a short film, didnβt know whoβd actually wield it, was also not important for the actual making, really π
The one with the inner handle is obvious. The other one, I'd imagine you apply force to the inner flat edge to slow rotation allowing you to grip the rest of the weapon comfortably.
pro tip! you can buy, wear, and use whatever personal accessories you like regardless of gender
the weird cool spiral knife thingies are of course only provided for free as standard issue to nonbinary individuals but there is nothing stopping you from buying a pair for yourself
Yeah my wife had this issue at Target awhile back over a simple item like socks. The men's socks were cheaper and the women's were more expensive of the same brand. Their official response was the prices are set by their vendors π€£
Difference is the sword for ladies is designed with an ergonomic blade to hit weakpoints, oiled to glide seamlessly with its strokes, and can be used for full-body slashing.
The men's sword is just a generic shortblade that only gets a +1 to any attacks above the neck, with -5 to anything lower.
Generally speaking, the women's sword is actually better. But because it is pink, men will buy the inferior blue one and think that they're getting a deal.
It's like when my buddy Ea-nΔαΉ£ir said: "Bronze is for girls, what you really want is Copper! It's the metal for men, and I got loads of it!"
the pink tax isn't real, capitalism doesn't care about sexism, if companies know feminists won't double check the price for something that's empowering the females movement they'll make it more expensive, that's why they've been pushing feminism all this time
being a libertarian i actually agree, if women want the pink tax to end they can very well buy gender neutral products until companies are in a hurry to lower the prices, or luxury products since having higher quality items is nice to have
Well. . . Not always luxury means good quality. I remember my coworkers told me, that when he worked in corn factory they used same corn for cheap and expensive canned corn. And I just noticed that the quality of some brands just doesn't match their price

That way I could add pockets to dresses

I'd having a hard time understanding what difference the socks could have
