One thing I'll never get use to is how normal anime is now. You use to start an "anime club" at your school, & it was the same 5 guys into DBZ. Now I walk down the street & there's cars with anime stickers on them every few blocks. You will never know how crazy that is to me.

I was in middle school, maybe about 10 or 11 when I watched Tenchi Muyo. Way too early for me.
Still own a copy of the Gotenks fusion episodes on VHS.

Explaining to my kid that I used to swap burned CDs at LAnparties to get new anime in the 2000s.
Newer fans have it easy and I'm glad.
So much Gundam and Macross.
i remember 20 years ago, even most anime fans were unaware that tokusatsu even existed outside of power rangers and godzilla (and maybe monkey in the uk/australia)
