Very interesting that partisan receptions on whether the economy is in recession or is thriving are actually pretty similar. That could be because the switching of perceptions after the change in party control of the White House is still in flux.

More Republicans than Dems also say were are NOT in a recession (more Dem Don't Knows). In September it was Ds 25Y,49N, and Rs 51Y, 22N, so there already has been a good deal of movement, but probably more coming.
Is this a joke ? Only realised wealth is „real“ and „rich“. I am sure Wirecard shareholders were also rich (on paper) until they weren‘t. When the share price goes to its worth (zero), then he won’t even be able to pay for the lawsuits in this „Golden Age of Fraud“
if you can donate 250m to the Trump campaign you are rich. he may or may not be the richest person in the world or not even super rich, whatever that means. but he definitely is rich in any meaningful sense of the word.
I remember Fox news host Stuart Varney about 15 years ago talking about poor people and saying that they weren't actually poor, "Many of them have things--what they lack is the richness of spirit"
This is association data, so people have to positively tick each attribute, rather than yes/no responses. Most people only have a certain number of ticks in them, so to speak. It doesn’t mean 25% of people don’t think he’s rich.
* had to go down a rabbit hole to check this, he's made claims of having a physics degree but the evidence is surprisingly weak givens it's gone to court a couple of times!
That 13% is gonna hurt his feelings, but we have work to do if only 30% see him as corrupt. Also most of the descriptors I would use for him are not listed here. Like entitled, egomaniac, tyrant, bigot, white supremacist, horrible parent, propagandist, last but not least NAZI.

Yes 28%
(Just 3% said this would be a good thing.)
This is up from 18% in December 2023 and 17% when Gallup asked the question in April 1938.

71% of people see him as rich, 25% as a troll and 13% as funny.
This is one way one can see Musk as not rich.
