2024 is almost over! We got In The Dark 2 physically sold in retro Gamestop locations across the US, which is crazy. Though it has been a challenging year, thereβs still much to be grateful for.
I also want to celebrate the amazing work of others.

Either way, I'll see if I can get a mod retro from gamestop. Just debating
A perfect balance of puzzle-solving and platforming, Mind Over Magnet was a great surprise this year. While it only took a couple of hours to beat, the cleverness of the puzzles and unique mechanics made it joyful to beat each level.
What an amazing combination of Metroidvania and Souls-like! Quick combat and fun and engaging puzzle elements offer a unique take on the genre. The gorgeous 3d graphics in a 2d space work quite well here, and the game also plays like a dream.
I have never had so much fun with a 2D platformer. Every aspect of this game was equally cute and dangerous. I loved the art style, characters, and sound design. If you're a fan of platformers or love exploration, this game is perfect for you.
Pulling directly on my heartstrings, the 2nd part of the remake of one of the best RPGs of the late 90s has plenty to offer. I often played Queen's Blood or mini-games longer than the main story, but its main quest is just as engaging. Amazing!
This is platforming perfection. The amount of charm stuffed into this game is enough to melt the most hardened gamer's ice cold heart. A celebration of decades of video games all wrapped into one perfect experience. Joy-inducing brilliance from start to finish.
