I'm going to be running an interactive workshop on math, fibre arts, and performative femininity -- i.e., all the knitters and crocheters will bring along their current projects, we'll teach those who aren't yet either some basic stitches,

and then we're going to talk about things like "why do we bring our crocheting/knitting along to math(/logic) conferences (and how does this intersect with how AuDHD manifests in women...), and how does it affect how other conference-goers (mostly men) perceive us?"

This is so neat. The first time I made the connection between math and my knitting was when I got an Elizabeth Zimmermann book that had directions for both "blind followers" and "here's the formula."

I can always listen better if I'm knitting.
