I don’t think Kellen Moore is HC material. That is what is wrong with the NFL today. Thinking an OC or a DC can be a HC because they were successful with a team. Time will tell.

Agreed. This is a bad career move. The Saints, as organization, are a hot mess. He’s likely to be a one season HC and then back on the market as an OC.

HC contracts are generational wealth money and almost always fully guaranteed so even if he's canned after year 1 (which would be idiotic....) he gets $20m+ & no one will look at him as being at fault unless he does a Jerod Mayo and shows he's not close to ready

And... Let's say he gets a 4 year deal for, say, $5m/per fully guaranteed and is fired after year 2. OK? He's got $20m and can go be a coordinator Or he can remain a coordinator, make a fraction of that and in year 3 he's... a coordinator. 🤷‍♂️

It isn't a bad financial move. Career wise is debatable. I don't see the Eagles offense regressing like Houston did. I think they will be more like Detroit and Ben Johnson.

A could of years coaching a terrible Saints team may take all the luster off his star and not give him another OC chance.
