We need a teaching guide for this kind of information. I use wiggles to frame oscillations, but it takes a lot of effort to ensure that this makes sense to students.
Wait, this is a model? There are many models where oscillations are functional, none of them are evidence that oscillations are functional in the brain. I'm not downplaying this kind of work, I also have published such models. Just pointing out that they're just hypotheses, proof of concept at best
