Hispanic Americans (on average) hold pretty strong positions on immigration, closer to what white Republicans think than white Dems.
"There were some difficulties and some children got shot in the face" -> support drop, correlated with lib-auth values

I just think the baseline racial divide that set was unsustainably high - like Northern Ireland voting levels high.
Ironically if this is the case, DEI would help republicans.
