I was referring to the much more likely cultural reference point of 1950/60s sexist advertising, such as the photos provided. Not your notion, which you are free to cling to, but I find it unlikely that Sabrina and her team are making a Spinal Tap reference. What would be the pay off? For who?

The payoff is for anyone who has seen the film and recognises the scene it winks at - and at the same time, I acknowledge it’s not the only thing going on here (there’s a lot). I’m also far from the only one to have made the connection
