worst take ever

Checked it out from the library last month. Hadn’t seen it since I was a kid and it came out.

It, um, does not hold up.

I’m sure I have worse 🤣

I will never put my hand anywhere near a hollowed out tree stump. Ever.

We must defend ourselves from Twitter responses at all costs :-)

The soundtrack alone would keep it good but also that movie knows exactly what it is.

Flash Gordon is, and always will be - awesome.

Exactly! What’s not to like? it’s got Peter Duncan off Blue Peter sticking his hand into a log for goodness sakes!

It’s a quirky and ridiculous film and I love every minute of it.

The joke’s on that guy; it wasn’t holding up when it was released.

And that’s exactly why it olds up now.

If you consider the De Laurentiis filmography and his commitment to camp a genre in and of itself…then it very much holds up.
