It is horrific to see this happening AGAIN. I can now understand how Europe devolved into Fascism in the 1930’s and can empathize with the terror liberty loving Europeans, esp. the French, must have felt.
Well a lot of French people weren't exactly heroes. But I guess De Gaulle who organized the resistance from Britain, deserves an honourable mention. Special honours also to our résistants who paid with their lives for their love of freedom. Even if quite a few of them were communists.
