Yeh, the days of the idealised rich philanthropist like Andrew Carnegie are pretty much over. The rich now don't even pretend to care about the population, the likes of Musk throwing themselves fully into fascism.
Tell them youβve learned there are coded messages to Dollyβs black hat crew inside her cake mix boxes, distributed by OG latitude/longitude digits.
So the asshats go buy them.
So sorry. I found you there & havenβt fully switched over. But the cult has really magnified their presence. Such a shame how theyβve ruined it.βΉοΈ
I quit twitter it was bought and your account was one of the ones that I was sad to lose. I'm glad that Bluesky exists so I can see your posts again and I'm sorry that you're being harassed by jerks.
My local library is open Sundays because a wealthy gentleman wanted to read the Sunday paper at the library so he paid the cost of keeping the library open Sundays. That's the kind of rich I want to be when I say I want money
The reason very rich people did that was (a) to see their names on buildings like libraries, and (b) to avoid the very high confiscatory Federal estate tax. Now Reagan & Bush and the GOP have reduced the estate tax to nuisance levels.
