I read daily. I finished two and a half books last week and I started a new Stephen King novel this week, BAG OF BONES. I always read before bed, it helps me neutralize my thoughts, get in a good space and have a good night's rest.
The library has ALWAYS been a sanctuary! I just can't read before bed because "Just 1 more chapter" ends up being me up until 4 when my alarm goes off at 5 🤣
Bradbury has always been a favorite of mine since I was young. I didn't pick up my first until the movie "Something wicked this way comes" and I absolutely NEEDED to read the book version. Loved him ever since!
Reading Alexander pope changed my life, his words have stuck with me ever since, I can’t forget them they are so engraved in my mind <3 Emily Dickinson too. Ray Bradbury knew what he was talking about.
At the school book fair many many years ago, I had saved for the Ellery Queen short story magazine. I loved the short stories. I'm certain my Nana never noticed the flashlight on under the blankets. 💕
It's certainly saved mine. My daughter is an amazing published poet with 3 books under her belt. I however raised myself into adulthood on Kahlil Gabron & Elizabeth Barret Browning
I read books veraciously. I get so caught in the feelings of the stories that I immediately throw myself into the next

You can always read the others in the daytime!
I haven't done this yet myself, but I have a similar feeling that my brain will be too stimulated by this for sleep.
