Folks told me: "Your fifties will be weird/wild" - that may be but I'm pretty sure they didn't mean that to include "watching the sad implosion of American journalism into fascist embrace"

Sounds good. I'm more the gin and tonic type so guess I'll go that route. Seems sufficiently last century enough to hearken to the days when journalism lived. I can reminisce to when I lived in a two paper town, even.

Thank you. Deeply appreciated. So, I'm assisting with a literature class at my university - one work in the syllabus is Destroyer. I'll be presenting the lecture over this and want it to be successful. So I thought, "Why not ask the man himself about this work for some thoughts?" So here I am.
