I said the same thing after Covid lockdowns about disabled folks who had been going through that for a long time & we didn’t learn shit, so who tf knows.

You can’t dismiss these places with “they have bad politics or vote for this” without acknowledging and reckoning with the fact that they were long ago abandoned by the Democratic Party.
The only real opposition is at the grassroots level.

Fair. But those arguments need to take place inside the party bc of how the system is structured to give preference to the two main parties. That was the best bet strategically —Harris, argue after. Same happened in 2020, though, & Biden et al. acted like they had a mandate for business as usual.

Definitely but I was thinking more on the state and local level.
Most Republicans run unopposed in deep red states and that’s where Democrats should start but it’s a long process.

BTW. I was agreeing with your first post. I’m not always clear with my thoughts
