Yep this is the thingI point to that 'radicalized' me. Lisening to grown-ass adults unironically do this as a 13 year old immediately pulled the curtain back for me.

For those too young to remember 2003, when France opposed the Iraq War, the Republicans responded by renaming "French Fries" to "Freedom Fries." If someone actually called them that, you knew instantly they were a total loser. Everyone made fun of them, and they stopped calling them Freedom Fries.
