This is the foundation for much of our discontent in this country. The ultra-wealthy have the advantage of mass propaganda networks and outsized influence in our politics, legal system and courts. They suppress votes and wages as they hoover the cream off the top and we starve on the pale blue skim.

In France every town had a bar, a post office, a baker, a butcher, etc. Today many of those spaces are shuttered. France does have a lot more very rich people. Farmers in the streets supported by the Russian financed RN whose election serves those very rich people.
