As a kid I remember getting so pissed playing a game (Miner 2049er) on my Apple II that I ripped the floppy disc (I'm old) out of the drive and bit it. Left teeth marks and ruined the game.
destiny 2 pvp for my group I play with lol. I specifically avoid pvp but whenever I'm in a call with them while they're doing that, it's a lot of raging. yet they never stop...
Splatoon. Where you can see: squid party followed by people disconnecting before the game starts, the next game disconnects just before the end so you go to Salmon Run for peace only to play with someone who gets pissed you didn't revive them fast enough & they throw the game by throwing a tantrum
Hearts of Iron 4, I’ve never played a game that demands so much of your time and attention to both understand and get good with its gameplay consistently and loves to waste said time by way of small mistakes being game ending with very little room for error.
At the same time, I feel the need to slam my face into the brick wall hoping one day I understand the game enough to be good at it. I’m currently 150 hours and only just learning how to properly build your army.
Celeste (for the first few hours)! Funnily enough, that game taught me a patience that affected my experience in every game since then and also probably life? Thanks, @maddymakesgames.com
Definitely Cuphead for me too—those bosses push me to the edge, but the art and gameplay keep pulling me back. Another one is Dark Souls—frustratingly tough, yet so rewarding. What keeps you coming back to your game despite the rage moments?
Have you ever forgotten to prepare your farm for the ancient fruit and understood that too late? Or accidentally skipped a treasure chest in skull mine? If you try hard enough, you too can have a mental breakdown over something in that game
yesss i just switched to 4 and abandoned 3, it just wasnt worth it anymore! You have to have a perfectly specific computer to make it run smoothly. I swear I did every trick in the book to make it run better and it still took a toll on my gaming pc.
I got back into it after buying a brand new gaming laptop, and I'm loving it again!!! I got some community fixing mods and patches and it's been a beauty ever since.
I tried 4 but I didn't really like it 😔
It really takes a LOT of mods to make 4 fun. Cant tell you how much I play it and wish for the open neighborhoods of 3. A loading screen every time you want to change lots is so lame imo. Even if theyre not long. I did hear there was a new mod that came out recently that improves function.
I know! The loading screens completely kill ts4!
As laggy as it is, the open world is so fun. Especially because you can spy on all of your Sims all around the map doing their own thing
I got so used to it that when I tries 4 it was such a bummer!
I missed out on some golden Sims 3 gameplay because my PC specs weren’t high enough! I used to get some error message preventing me from saving or it would crash, so I eventually just sold it. Sometimes I kick myself for it but I’ve gone back to Sims 1 now
I remember playing it with my old laptop when I was a teen... I used to load my save file and have dinner, because it took me 20 minutes to load 💀
The vents would go crazy when I went to the world map lmao that laptop was a champ
My new one deals with ts3 way better at least ahah!
Oh damn, your situation was worse than mine then 😅
It was tempting to re-download it now that I have a much better PC, but something about the way they look just irks me. Then Sims 4 just became overwhelming with the amount of stuff packs they spew out, Sims 1 brings simplicity with chaos
I've yet to try the Sims 1. I was way too young when it was released
I have it there, ready 👀
I hate how they deal with expansion packs on 4, it's unmanageable
Thought I’d share this actually. Just to show you how stressful it is making friends and how they love to gather frequently in the bathroom. Their bladders drop FAST.
It could go 2 ways starting Sims 1 now; it could feel seriously outdated or the quirkiness and sassiness of it could grip you for days. I started playing it in 2001 I think. When the Superstar EP was released I was setting 4am alarms to try figure out how to surpass 2 stars before school
I came here to say this.. and survival ascended isn't garnering a whole lot less yelling from me then evolved did. Then I get all excited because I managed to punch a Trike enough for it to like me so we're all ok now.
