I just rewatched the S1 trailer and very notable red moment is when they make the implantation into Helly's outie and you see the inside of her skull...it gross. And red.
Right?? I'll confess I wasn't drawn in by the story for the first few episodes, but the visual design (along with the mountains of accolades the show has received from my friends here) kept me watching.
There are so many fascinating details. The cinematography seems even better this season—episode 2 in particular really steps up the Hopper visual references (a great thread on Reddit dies side by sides). I’m linking a season one analysis so no spoilers for you.
