I saw this only just now, and it is unsurprising! I recently wrote a piece on Karp's book, The Technological Republic (hopefully out soon). The book outlines the ideological groundwork for a militarized tech oligarchy, merging corporate and state power under the guise of "resilience" & "patriotism".
