100%. As someone who has worked for nonprofits most of my career, I'm upset to see quite a few progressive orgs remain on Meta platforms, accept money from Chan-Zuckerberg, etc. Gotta find new ways to create community and raise funds—now.

If people have overstayed their visas or whatever, though, it’s unfortunate but they’re within the law to arrest people and deport them to their country of origin. Idk - I’d rather they not do it but it doesn’t seem to overstep the law. Happy to be wrong

I have, but this isn’t a change in laws we have in place and have had in place for decades. In fact, the daily arrest numbers are below Biden’s so far. They’re not particularly good at this - they’re just making a show of it.
