I just finished Mario and Luigi Brothership... And it is genuinely one of my favorite games of all time. I haven't felt this invested in a game or its story in years, it's a breath of fresh air and an amazing return to one of my favorite series. Though it does have a few minor problems. - ThreadSky

Firstly, bosses. There aren't that many of them, but the ones that do exist are wonderful. And extending off the topic of bosses, Brothership doesn't have an arena mode. So you can't refight bosses at a higher difficulty. Refights do exist, but it's only for 3 bosses and it's only in side quests.

Another issue is pacing, now I don't mind the slow start, Dream Team happens to be my favorite M&L game. But I can see how it might be frustrating to not get hammers and Bros. Moves until a bit later into the story. The bros moves are also great, a few returning that got remixed and a few new ones.

But I still love the game to no end! Especially the art direction, everything just looks gorgeous! It's best experienced if you play the game yourself, but a good example is how they don't use black for shading. Instead they use different, darker colors that complement what they're shading.

Every inch of Brothership just oozes charm, and I'd recommend any fan of the original series to give it a shot! The battles are fun, if not a little easy if you know what you're doing. Areas are diverse and interesting to explore. And there's so many unique and lovable characters!
