My husband is our families only income earner, but he wants to quit to become a game designer. The conversations around healthcare alone are terrifying. Authors who do this full time to support themselves have so much admiration from me!

An analog to this was that when I quit my day job to write full-time, some fellow writers said, “Isn’t that pretty dangerous since you’re not married?” I guess, but the alternative was to grind myself down working two full-time jobs?
