One of the first Speccy games I bought, after Imagine's Arcadia and Melbourne House's The Hobbit. I would go on to design Dan Dare on the ZX Spectrum a couple of years later.

I clearly remember being stuck on the toilet level for ages. It was one hell of a sense of achievement when you completed a game in those days though, having restarted countless times.
Kids today will never know that kind of perseverance or feeling of accomplishment either. 🤷♂️😉

Grabbed the last copy before anyone else could get it then walked around the shop looking for my mum to persuade her I absolutely needed it.
The game my mate Colin and I were obsessed with finishing was Manic Miner. We eventually finished all 20 levels - NO SAVE AVAILABLE!!
