It goes beyond Barton. My local CBC station is giving airtime to PP and Moe to whine about the carbon tax cut not being enough. Why can’t we have one centrist news organization in Canada?
I find that David Cochrane does a much better job of asking important questions without demonstrating bias and is not afraid to fact-check the political pundits or politicians on P&P on CBC. Rosie sounds petulant and tends to snicker and roll her eyes.
I don't think she liked being laughed at. She is her own worst enemy. She always tries to go for the "gotcha"question. Seriously, she isn't as politically savvy as she thinks she is. Katie Simpson is one of my favourite CBC journalists.
Rosemary Barton doesn't even ask a question related to the purpose of the PMs visit to France and Britain. She is an embarrassment to #CBC Past her sell by date.
That was a great moment. He is just establishing himself for a lot of people, and they are testing him, to see how far they can push him, if they can rattle him, and what his temperament really is. He handled it masterfully.
Do your part Canada. Stop watching when she is on the air. They will fire her like they did to Sid on Breakfast TV.
