If Tom Brady and the Raiders are "enamored" with Ben Johnson, then I think it's OK if the Bears end up being head over heels for him. With Mike Vrabel off to the Patriots, all eyes turn to Johnson.

My guess is Cowboys resign McCarthy. Saints and Jets get their guys. Then Bears, Jags and Raiders fight it out over Johnson. If we don’t get him, who are our fallback options?
The Bears need somebody who can overcome the culture of failure George McCaskey enables and embodies. I see no reason to believe Johnson is that guy. He MAY be, but it’s all projection. Great offensive mind, but everything else is unproven. If they miss out on him, don’t panic.
