I’m up at dawn to walk the dog and I am productively working at 0730 after a coffee at 0700. When the sun sets at 2000 I am winding down for sleep at 2100. All my devices are dark mode with brightness down. We watch a projector not a TV. It’s amazing how bright modern TV screens are.
Physical activity does it for me. I do a bunch of cardio and I never have problems sleeping. The unintended consequence is that days like today when it’s 30 degrees and I have problems getting outside to run drive me crazy.
I wake up at 5am every day. My secret is getting up an hour earlier per week and leaving the alarm away from the bed so you have to get up to turn it off.
Once up, take a shower and by then you’ll probably be wide awake.
