The solution is to not send your kid into school on Mondays. If you send a boy in on Tuesday, you will be sending a girl in on Wednesday, a boy on Thursday, a girl on Friday. Thus, you will get your boy back on Friday night & have him for the weekend. A four-day school week is a bipartisan solution.
