I`m inclined to agree with you about Morsi and Guehi... and I`m trying not to let my own strong anti-religion feelings affect my stance! Something like "you can hold your views in private but when in your professional capacity or a wider setting, you must embrace all of society" seems reasonable.

I think if there's a conflict between two groups where one is attacking what the other group thinks, and the other is attacking who the first group ARE, then you have your order of priority.

You can change your religious beliefs and especially your interpretations of texts, but not your sexuality.

I am glad that you raised the point about hiding hate and prejudice behind the guise of “religious belief”. Disappointed that Max did not challenge Troy more. Hate and prejudice are part of many religions, doesn’t make it defensible. Not listening to any more pods w/ Troy. No place for hate.

Would have liked to hear more of your view on not wearing the armband as you got shouted down immediately before making the point. I found apologies for those deciding not to wear it disappointing. Neville may not have understood wearing the shirt, but imagine writing something inflammatory on it?!

Regarding the armbands, if the players who refused to wear it due to their Muslim faith also refuse to appear with alcohol or gambling logos then I have more respect for their position. If they happily appear with them, as I suspect they do, then they are hypocrites.
