20yrs I’ve been concerned, response is almost always reactive.
Ex: NYC got a wakeup call post Sandy, barely, & if this was every year, we’d airlift the nyfd up yearly.
I’m not an end-of-the-world doomer but frick, it’s looking bleak, & eventually it’ll be everywhere too much for any state to fully ignore. Some peeps always will but change, adaption will be obligatory, always is.
