I am surprised by the lack of direction from public health. If you should get infants immunized if you plan to travel to Texas, but not to Ontario, that makes no sense.
We'll see how it goes. I have a grandchild and I'm terrified for her safety.
I'm 51 and it was never an issue before Jenny McCarthy and her vaccines cause autism bullshit. I have a nephew on the spectrum and he was born with it. Because it's a neurological disorder.
The good news is there has been an uptake of the vaccine! Some people have to learn the hard way. Wonder why the cases are so concentrated in Souther ON. I hope they figure out if it’s due to lower vaccination rates or something else…
Good to know! I am partly wondering if Southern ON has lower vaccination rates than the rest of ON or you have nicer weather so more people outside means more spread. In short is SO unique or are the measles coming to all ON.
Not just young lives. Even if you recover from measles, it can emerge in your system years later and cause fatal encephalitis. So yeah. They’re just okay with people dying across the board.
Chief medical officer stands behind vaccine exemption law.....where the fuck do cons find these idiots? Nevermind. They have to appease the idiots that vote for them.
Yes. But that should not mean that people outside of Ontario -- or even outside of the hottest zone for #measles in Ontario -- should take this lightly.
Vaccination rates are down all over Canada. It only takes one bus ride, school trip or restaurant dinner to spread it outside of Ontario.

Without verified vaccinations, #measles will spread. Without clean air #measles will spread.
Because Public Health officials are scared to do the right thing.

Well, what has Public Health done about it?
Nothing. Dr Kieran Moore is all about vibes, hence his support for exemptions.
So, PH is not taking this seriously.
