W3W has always struck me as a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. We already have latitude and longitude and if that's too complicated to read out, you can share your location across many messaging platforms.

And if you really want something like W3W there's Google's Plus Codes which are derived from lat/long, don't have the singular/plural word ambiguity and are completely free to use.
