Whenever I go out, I see more Robins than any other bird! They all get their photo taken as I just can’t resist them! They are just too adorable and cheeky ❤️❤️

Part of the evolutionary success of the Robin is that it learnt to follow mammals that disturbed soil whilst foraging. Snuffling pigs and photographers are similar enough to be worth approaching especially when it’s cold and they’re hungry.
When they’re close I’m usually looking the other way and they seem to chirp really loudly in my ear as if to say “I’m over here!” 🤣 And sure who wouldn’t say hello back! :)
So very precious!🫶 I can sure see why you can't resist!
And good morning, Michelle. Wishing you a good start to this new week.✨
My son left last evening after an absolutely wonderful time this past weekend celebrating our Christmas.😊🎄
Hi SilverLinings! I got another photo of one today 😂 Happy new week to you too!
I'm so glad you had a wonderful weekend with your son. Family time is so important in a world which goes by way too fast ❤️❤️❤️
Such a cute bird! Your post made me think about how our Robins fly away during the winter. We don’t get to see them during these dark months! Their pushy arrival heralds Spring but it’s the sparrows who stay here all year round, partying up and being cheeky.
Funny isn't it Shireen how I'm seeing so more at this time of year! I love having a bird that makes you realise Spring is here, for me it's the Chiffchaff. As soon as I hear their call I'm excited for Spring! Oh those Sparrows are a hoot, always having a chin wag in our garden with each other!
It’s neat learning about birds in other countries. It’s like when I strolled along the Serpentine and saw ducks and geese I’d never seen before. Foreign and intriguing!
One of the first birds I hear is the woodpecker…altho I swore I heard one a couple weeks ago. Wondered what it’s still doing here!
