I've put so many hrs in Jet Island it's crazy. It's like spiderman/attack on titan grappling with jets and a surfboard so you can slide on slopes like surf_counterstrike maps. And on top of everything it has Shadow of the Colossus giant bosses + 4 person multiplayer
Elite Dangerous. It may not be the most VR of the VR games, but being able to sit and be totally immersed in the cockpit and see the ship around you as you're zooming through space is something special.
House of the Dying Sun is also fun, VR elevates it from an okay dogfighter to an A++ experience.
Honestly kinda a bummer that we haven’t heard anything from Twisted Pixel since the Quest port of B-Team with Path of the Warrior being their last original title as far as I’m aware. I know they are a subsidiary of Oculus Studios now but they are still oddly quiet unless I’m missing something.
Paper Beast is my #2. Only Déraciné beats it, for my taste. (Nothing else from FromSoftware is for my taste, so it's quite a surprise that this is my favorite game in over three decades of gaming.)
• The Gallery Episodes on SteamVR
• FORM on SteamVR
• GestureVR on Horizon OS (Quest)
• Substance 3D Modeler on Windows/SteamVR w Quest AirLink + Logitech MX Ink & Touch
• Google Earth VR on SteamVR. Reminded there are visionOS & Horizon OS Google Earth VR-like apps but none come close to the king
Will add Silent Hill 2 with UEVR injector on PC. Just plenty of Flat2VR ports in general. Mind bending and eye opening experience seeing high fidelity assets and rendering in VR. Obviously not 100% designed for VR but models may it playable. Mind changed this year on the subject.
My pick is Electronauts from Survios. Brilliant VR music-making game (not a rhythm game, this is about jamming). The PC version has multiplayer, which is absolutely the best way to have fun with the game. Very sadly, the Quest version does not support multiplayer : (
I’ve spent many hours in Vrseum by Secondary Bounce. Words can’t express how amazing it is. It is the best virtual art museum currently in existence. It is mind blowing. Every single exhibit is utterly fascinating. More people need to experience it.
The Unspoken VR 🤩
A fantastic wizard duelling game with amazing mechanics! I just wish the PvP was still alive bc figuring out a strategy against your opponents on the fly was amazing!
Someone PLEASE port this to stand alone headsets & extend the story 🙏
The Under Presents still stands as a great example of what an immersive virtual world can be. Transference - my first time being terrified in VR. Also Blocked In and the dioramas of Daniel Ernst are wonderful places to just be inside.

Also Cook Out a Sandwhich Tale and the Job Simulator games though those are probably more well known.

It's super challenging to market, but it’s an exceptionally well-crafted VR app that truly deserves a spot in everyone’s library.
