i have a bare bones frontpage but i’m trying to learn html since i don’t wanna use a web builder. it’s a lot to take in for someone who doesn’t do any coding type stuff at all but i hope to have something proper one day
to be honest, absolutely none! (given that porkbun has its own DNS stuff) I just end up having bad experiences from domain registrar built in services taking forever to update, so I never rely on them beyond buying the domain and setting nameservers nowadays
cloudflare pages and cloudflare registrar is how i’ve been doing my static pages these days. get it all in one place and they do git deploys on push too
if your website can be hosted w/ gh pages, you can alternatively deploy w/ cf pages instead (since anything static doesn't cost any worker runtime) if you prefer to keep everything together
im a bit simple, so my current web deployment stack is legitimately just cf registrar, cf dns, and cf pages. works fine, i dont pay a dime for anything but my domain, and i can just push to a different branch to test stuff using the same stack as my normal deployments
i just like managing everything from one place, but the stack's set up to where i can move all the different steps to either my own infra or a different provider

or use github pages, netlify, cloudflare pages etc etc etc, so many options where you can just host an html file you built on your own

bluesky even admits that it can be an adversary to itself, you should have a presence elsewhere that you can point your followers to
