I'd suggest going through your projects and choose those that MOST speak to your heart right NOW. Depending on how many that is (☺️), choose 1-3 that are easily completed. Then reassess. I have several (lol) WIPs and I cycle through them. Unless I start something on a deadline. 😆 Hope this helps!

I do have a couple that I would like to finish quilting, but I’ve been busy with endless piecing. Perhaps a shift in perspective is what I need, and I’m sure I’ll feel better with a finish or two under my belt.

I can definitely be hard on myself sometimes. Perhaps the New Year’s resolution shouldn’t be ‘finish all the things’, but ‘find some grace for yourself’.

I think social media sets us up for unrealistic expectations with this. Most people are not starting and finishing a quilt in a week, especially if working around a job or kids. But I understand the goal of wanting to finish projects, too… sorry I don’t have advice for that part 😆

Agree! Especially fuller sizes. Quilting for me isn't just in my down time, it's like down down down time:) I can power thru a top but most of those then spend months waiting to be quilted.

Fair enough, I think part of my problem ( also to do with social media) is that I get so excited to make all the things and start far more projects than I finish. I just lose interest.
