I'm not going to quote tweet bc I have no desire to dunk on the OP, but it is so bizarre to me that the Brits think their humor is so unique.
It's a street sign for Duck Street. They put ducks on it. This is a joke literally any country would make. Ducks on a duck sign. How eccentric! How novel!

And I didn't even say it wasn't funny. I said it wasn't unique. And they're in here acting like I personally stole their Nan's purse.
My point is that it's not unique to see that joke that way. There's really no other way to see "lol ducks on ducks."
There's nothing WRONG with the joke. I don't object to the cute dad joke. I said as much. It's just not uniquely British.
(A man's about as big as the things that make him angry)
Also I fucking love this are you kidding.
And I think lots of British comedians are very funny! I enjoy a British panel show! But it's not some special brand of humor, it's pretty straightforward.
Also I think Quebecois humour is HELLA weird and alien to me lol and I'm in the next privince over. British humour is just raunchier than Canadian humour, it's easy to get tho
All the context anyone needs is in the photo, there's nothing to guess about
