Jokes aside, the Commission is clearly wrong though.

We keep on accidentally posting surpluses when we’re trying to run a deficit. Either grow too fast or spend too little or both. It’s what we do

Yes, hadn't looked at that for a while but just noticed that the projections for 2024, including the CPB's, look way too pessimistic again. Not sure what is driving that though.
