The ALP showed us its stance on international law with the "Malaysia Solution" and again when Rudd announced that all people seeking asylum by boat would be sent to Nauru and PNG and wouldn't be resettled in Australia.

They have repeatedly shown indifference to human rights abuses *at best*.
