My Chinese wife and her friends have talked about people using Little Red Book to chat or get recipes or whatever, and I was *extremely* confused until they explained that it was the name of a social media app!
But itβs referencing it in a jokey way. If I made an Instagram type app and called it βThe Holy Bibleβ, nobody would think that Iβm doing it out of respect. Many people would probably call that blasphemous.
They will find out...
China doesn't likes certain things. At least Tik Tok was like "We need to keep the western people happy too"
If those going to RedNote expect freedoms...*snerk*
Zuck & Bezos lobbied and fell on the sword so Musk could swoop in as Trumps dominatrix to squander our 1st Amendment rights, buy TikTok (Google it) and the big 3 billionaires get to eliminate the competition. If yaβll keep giving Amazon, Meta & Twitter business - youβre a fucking moron.

... lets see how THAT goes.

Either way, a big change from TikTok forcing everyone to refer to them as pewpews.
The only thing that could stop this is "a total U.S. ban on trading with China" (e.g. "world trade crisis and depression").
Trump will make it happen.
