Get an induction stove, it's an everything faster. No more electric kettle, instapot, gooseneck, George Foreman, you name it. Well, maybe keep the air fryer.
Completely agree - plus the cleanup tends to be faster. My instant pot + air fryer combo is awesome. Tougher in a small european kitchen where appliance storage is less available, but worth it for quicker cleanups and lazier cooking
The air fryer thing is really a strange pocket in oven technology created by cost cutting landlords who install shitty ovens nobody would buy for themselves.
Someone should make a basket that clips on to a fan oven.
I do most of the slow cooker pot things with my trusty pressure cooker , get it up to pressure and leave it somewhere warm and it will keep cooking for hours.
Yeah, it’s the repeatability factor, too. Once you get the setting nailed for a croissant or a bowl of porridge it’s just set and forget. It’s pretty much peak cooking.
Yeah, convection ovens are awesome. I use it instead of a microwave most of them time now. I can heat up a slice of pizza in like 3 minutes, and the crust actually comes out crispy.
