Silovs DID suck last night. But so did our back 6 and our D zone coverage. Brutally soft all around. At some point, Canucks have to stop getting out shot, out chanced, and out face offed. For far too long now we are constantly saved by a “Jesus” type goaltender. Go Canucks
Silvos showed he can play under adrenaline-fueled pressure, but still needs to develop and cook more in Abby.
With Demko's knee condition, I love the idea of a 1A/1B tandem split of Demko and Lankinen for a couple years, where neither takes the heavy load, keeping them both rested and healthy.
Silovs has really struggled this season. He should be in the minors working on his game. Circumstances are such that he can't. Hopefully Demko is able to return soon and Silovs go down and find his game. I still have faith in him.
