I've never really understood why despite everyone telling me they loved it, Indie Impressions never built much interest or inspired people to share or talk about it. I assumed it was that my narration actually drove people away since similar videos with no host often got tons of views.

I do think no commentary gameplay has an audience, but it might also help with the algo that it requires less work and can be more regular or longer

There's a lot to be said for how people aren't appreciating the art of games, and just falling into "hustle culture".
Your work was amazing and so was your narration.
Back then I didn't have many online friends and indie impressions was a hard thing to share with others, especially non-english-speaking, so it was my secret personal thing. Indie games were still obscure.
