if usaid is dead then the constitution is dead and your more sympathetic agency next time around doesn’t matter because elections don’t matter. if the president can ignore congress and dissolve agencies it’s over. period. the end.

Elections are administered at the state and local level. He can't "cancel" them any more than I can.

He can certainly try to subvert them like he did last time, but he can't (and I suspect wouldn't) cancel them outright.

This is some kind of brain rot but I struggle to even know what to call it. The functions of USAID are irrelevant here. The issues is as you say, the usurpation of Congress's power by someone whose not even the President!
