Medicaid helps to pay for long term care for elderly in nursing facilities in my state. To kick out those suffering from debilitating illnesses and Alzheimer’s is cruel as they suffer with any change to routine. Families will be devastated.

Dehumanization always starts with the weakest, the ones with the least ability to voice their concerns to what is occurring, and moving up the chain from there until only they, themselves and their system is left. By not standing up for the weakest, we leave ourselves open to attack.
