Thank Texas for this outbreak. The cases have been concentrated in a “close-knit, undervaccinated” community. Gaines County is highly rural, so many of the families send their children to small private schools or are homeschooled and unvaccinated.

I had measles as a kid, and believe me, it was not fun. My lymph nodes in my neck took a beating. I also had chicken pox,and 11 years ago I got Shingles. The worst pain and rash ever. Now kids don’t need to go through that. Get vaccinated.
